Artur Pizarro is an internationally-acclaimed Portuguese concert pianist. In 1987, he won first prize in the Vianna da Motta International Music Competition and in 1990, first prize at theLeeds International Pianoforte Competition.

 

Artur Pizarro performs internationally and has worked with conductors Charles Dutoit, Sir Simon Rattle, Jean Fournier, Philippe Entremont, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Sir Andrew Davis, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Yuri Temirkanov, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Ilan Volkov, Tugan Sokhiev, Yakov Kreizberg, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Libor Pešek, Vladimir Jurowski, and Sir Charles Mackerras.

As well as a very successful acting career staring in Hotel Babylon, Jamestown, Suits, The Outsider plus many more, Max is a very accomplished session musician and actually started his career in music.

Max has performed as a percussionist and pianist with Robbie Williams, Take That, Jamiroquai and Paul Weller. In 2006 Max performed as a special guest for James Brown at the Roundhouse in London. Lately Max has recorded his own solo album with Grammy winning producer Al Schmitt and it features Paul Weller, Robbie Williams, Fred Durst, Lisa Stansfield, Christian Sands, Tommy Blaize, Antonique Smith, John Turrell, Omar and Francci Richards.

Grammy award winner Fraser T Smith has worked and produced music for some of the biggest artists in the music industry, including Adele, James Morrison, Tinchy Stryder, Taio Cruz, Stormzy, Dave, Sam Smith plus many more.

In 2011, Fraser won a grammy for his work on Adele’s album 21 and for co-producing ‘Set Fire to the Rain’. On top of this Fraser has has co-written, mixed and produced 7 Number One singles in the UK, 2 Billboard Number One singles in the US, and contributed to 18 Number 1 albums!

One of the most significant voices in British Jazz, Robert Mitchell, is a multi-faceted creator, pianist, composer, improviser, writer, poet and much more. Over his 30 plus years entrenched in the art of music, Robert has released 12 albums of his own projects, participated in over 100 projects as a sideman, has performed/toured in 40 countries. Robert was conferred the title of professor in June 2022 (from the Guildhall School of Music/Drama).

He has been a Steinway Artist since 2009. Robert is also a Principal Lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire (Piano/Jazz Pathway). He sits on the Guildhall EDI Committee, is a Task Force Member of Black Lives in Music and is an ambassador for the Featured Artists Coalition.

Robert has recently released the debut double album from his new group TRUE THINK – ‘Hold The Light/The New Resistance’ (DOF004/Bucks Records Ltd). It features international guests including: Becca Stevens, Omar, Carleen Anderson, Alicia Olatuja and Deborah Jordan. This was launched at Ronnie Scotts. The debut live album from new improv trio The Flame (featuring Mark Sanders and Neil Charles) – is to be released in 2023 on 577 Records (NYC). Robert is published by Bucks Music Group (worldwide).
